新しくYouTubeチャンネルを開設して、最初の動画をアップしました。これは、英語学習はテストのためだけではなく、ネットワークを広げ、人とつながり、自分の世界を広げるためのものだという、New Horizon Personal Training の考え方にもつながっています。そうした思いを形にするために、海外の方にもわかりやすい形で日本文化を紹介するコンテンツを発信していきます。周南市という地方都市で暮らしながらも新しい地平線を開拓していきます。当然この活動を通して英会話力も大いに上達するはずです。
I just opened a new YouTube channel and uploaded the first video. This is part of my broader New Horizon Personal Training vision: learning English isn’t only about test scores. It’s a way to broaden your network, connect with people, and expand your world. To reflect that, I’m creating content that shares Japanese culture in a simple, accessible way for people who are curious about Japan.
最初の動画では、浮世絵師・月岡芳年の代表作『月百姿』を取り上げました。この動画では、作品の歴史的背景だけではなく、その中に流れる感情や雰囲気、そして“月”が持つ静かな存在感について、できるだけシンプルでわかりやすく紹介しています。
In the first video, I introduce Tsukioka Yoshitoshi’s One Hundred Aspects of the Moon, his signature ukiyo-e series. I explain the core idea and emotional background in a clear, easy style, so viewers can feel the atmosphere and understand why the work still resonates.
また、これは自分自身にとっても新しい挑戦です。年齢に関係なく、新しいことを学び、発信し、自分の可能性を広げ続けることはできる。そんなメッセージも、この活動を通して伝えていけたらと思っています。
英語でも、仕事でも、趣味でも、何か新しいことに挑戦したいと思っている方に、少しでも前向きな刺激を届けられたら嬉しいです。
This is also part of my own challenge to keep learning, creating, and reaching out in public. I hope it inspires you to keep challenging yourself too, whether in English or in any new direction you want to grow.
